General ESTA Questions
ESTA (Electronic System for Travel Authorization) is required
for citizens of Visa Waiver Program countries traveling to the
US for tourism or business for 90 days or less. It's mandatory
for air or sea travel and must be obtained before departure.
ESTA authorization is valid for 2 years from the date of
approval or until your passport expires, whichever comes
first. You can make multiple trips to the US during this
period.
No, ESTA cannot be extended. You must apply for a new ESTA
when your current one expires or if your passport expires.
Application Process
Most ESTA applications are processed within 24-72 hours.
However, it's recommended to apply at least 72 hours before
travel. Rush processing (2-6 hours) is available for urgent
cases.
If your ESTA is denied, you'll need to apply for a tourist
visa at a US embassy or consulate. We offer a money-back
guarantee - if your application is denied, we'll refund our
service fee.
You can only update your contact information and US address
after submission. For other changes, you'll need to submit a
new application.
